Adama Traore urges low-scoring Wolverhampton Wanderers to be more clinical

Adama Traore has urged Wolverhampton Wanderers to improve on their finishing.

‎Nuno Espirito Santo’s men have only notched 12 Premier League goals this season - apart from the bottom five teams only Newcastle have scored fewer.

The not-too-impressive form in front of goal has denied them a chance to win any of their previous four games and placed them in the 11th spot in the log with 16 points from 12 games.

“We need to finish our chances – we’re working on it,” Traore told the Express & Star.

“It’s been a good start but we want to keep going, everyone wants more.

“There’s room to improve, we can do better in the final end, me too. We’ll get there, we’ll keep working.

“After the international break we’ll be back strong again.”

Last weekend, the former Middlesbrough player came close to scoring his second goal for the Wolves in his cameo against Arsenal but saw his effort denied by Bernd Leno.

“It was a good save but I’m still working for these final details," he said.

Wolverhampton Wanderers host Huddersfield Town at the Molineux Stadium after the international break on November 25.
