FULL TIME - Melbourne City has defeated Wellington Phoenix 3-2 in a thriller to advance to second position on the A-League table. City had their lead cancelled out twice by a gutsy Wellington but a third goal scored by substitute Marco Tilio was enough to give Melbourne City all three points. 
90' + 3' Fenton's header is cleared off the line by Good with the rebound going to Devlin who blasts the shot over. 
90' + 2' Luna tries to lift it over the top but Sail gathers safely. 
90' + 2' City are trying to play keepings off rather than pushing forward.

39' GOAL PHOENIX - Berenguer loses the ball with Davila taking off on a run. He finds Ball who sends it in to Tomer Hemed who slams the shot hard at Glover who gets a hand on it but can't prevent it from going in. It's 1-1 and game on. 
39' Another variation is taken before Noone sends it in. It's cleared by Hemed before Garuccio sends a powerful shot in from a long way out but it's straight to Sail. 
38' Nabbout lays it off to Berenguer whose shot is well saved by Sail. With a bit more power that would have been a goal.

Melbourne City have had a let down after ending their six game winning streak with a loss against Western United. They will be looking to bounce back tonight and if they do they will find themselves in second position of the ladder, just two points behind league leaders Central Coast and with a game in hand. 
If Wellington win they will go to eighth position on the ladder, just four points outside of the top six.
