Commentary

That is all for tonight, thanks for joining us as always. Goodbye!
Zidane's men will now feel they can close the gap between themselves and rivals Atletico. They certainly look back to their best going forward but defensive issues continue to creep up. For Huesca they remain bottom of the table. That defeat could really affect their morale, but they should take pride in their performance. They gave everything and need to use today as motivation for the final few games.
Madrid's players fall to their knees in delight as the game comes to an end. A heroic effort from the home side means they grab all three points but you have to feel for Huesca. Football is so cruel but a moment of magic from Benzema seals the win. Hernandez opened the scoring for Huesca with their first attack but that was soon cancelled out by Isco from close range. Ceballos then fired Madrid in front before Etxeita headed home. It looked like ending in a draw but Benzema's powerful drive from inside the box is enough for a Madrid win.
90' + 3' FULL-TIME - REAL MADRID 3-2 HUESCA.
90' + 2' OVER! Madrid find enough space to break down the right wing, but Nacho finds himself too far forward. He gets too excited and shoots into the stands rather than passing.
90' + 1' Four minutes of stoppage time...
M. Mantovani
Yellow Card
90' Mantovani is shown a card after speaking back to the official after the goal.
Marcelo
Assist
89' Marcelo deserves huge credit for the assist. The Brazil international could have gone for goal himself but he went for the simple option and it paid off big time.
K. Benzema
Goal
89' WHAT A GOALLLLLLL REAL MADRID 3-2 HUESCA - Well it needed something special and Benzema has just produced it. The home side worked their way into the box and the forward finally found a pocket of space to shoot after Marcelo picked him out. Despite being under pressure, Benzema did incredibly well to curl his foot around the ball and fire into the top corner. Stunning strike!
86' Madrid are throwing everything they have at Huesca's backline. This is going to be a nervous finale!
84' This game is finally posed and we may need a moment of brilliance from someone. Step up Bale!
Álex Gallar
J. Hernández
82' Hernandez leaves the field of play and he is greeted by a huge cheer from the away end. On comes Gallar for the final few minutes.
80' 10 minutes to go and this game could be won by either side. What a match in Madrid!
M. Díaz
Marcos Llorente
79' Mariano now enters the game, coming on in place of Llorente.
J. Añor
Christian Rivera
78' Another changes for Huesca sees Juanpi replace fellow midfielder Rivera.
77' We have a break in play as Huesca goalkeeper Santamaria signals for assistance. He looks like he has hurt his right arm.
F. Valverde
Isco
75' Zidane responds to the goal but taking off Isco and bringing Valverde into the game.
Moi Gómez
Assist
74' Gomez deserves plenty of praise for that cross, even though Madrid gave him plenty of time and space. He waited for his team-mates to make a run before picking out Etxeita at the front post.
Etxeita
Goal
74' GOAAALLLL REAL MADRID 2-2 HUESCA - The visitors find another goal at Santiago Bernabeu to draw level. From the corner they went short at first, but Madrid allowed them to make a second pass. That proved costly as Gomez had plenty of time to float his cross to the near post before Etxeita steered the ball past Zidane.
73' Huesca are refusing to lie down tonight and they win a corner...
70' WHAT A MISS! Madrid should be 3-1 up and home and dry but Bale is left on the floor after missing from close range. Odriozola managed to find space before drilling a cross towards the near post and Bale has somehow missed from inside the six-yard box.
68' Benzema has scored against 33 of the 34 opponents he has faced in LaLiga, failing only to score against Huesca. If he is not careful then he could find himself still waiting for that goal.
Nacho
Yellow Card
66' Nacho becomes the first Madrid player to be booked and rightly so. He produces a strong challenge on the touchline as Huesca tried to counter.
Lucas Vázquez
Brahim Díaz
64' Zidane reacts by making a sub of his own, with Diaz coming off for Vazquez.
Enric Gallego
E. Ávila
63' Huesca make their first change of the night as Avila is replaced by Gallego.
K. Benzema
Assist
62' Benzema has missed a number of chances tonight, but he deserves plenty of praise for that assist. He could have gone for it himself, but he leaned back to guide the ball into Ceballos' path.
Dani Ceballos
Goal
62' GOAAALLLLL REAL MADRID 2-1 HUESCA - The home fans go wild as Ceballos climbs to his feet after a brave volley finally sees Madrid take the lead. Zidane's men produce one of the best moves of the match to score a second as Bale, Benzema and Ceballos combine. The Welshman picked out Benzema at the far post with a looping cross before the striker headed back across goal for Ceballos to volley home under pressure.
59' CHANCE! Huesca break forward with Hernandez down the left and he looks across to Avila. The pass looks simple, but Hernandez seems to lose his footing before kicking it straight into the hands of Luca Zidane.
58' Huesca are battling away out there, and they are keeping players forward ready to attack. A risky move but will it pay off?
55' Isco looks like he needs a change of boots. That tackle from Musto has ripped the top of his footwear and he should look to change them in the coming minutes.
53' Isco continues to impress tonight as he tries to rediscover his best form under Zidane. Bale and Benzema are yet to shine but at least the latter is getting into some good positions.
D. Musto
Yellow Card
51' Musto is the latest man that enters the referee's book after he flies into Isco with his studs showing.
49' Bale decides to have a go from the set piece, but he nearly clears the stadium with that effort. That is one to forget for the former Tottenham man.
Jorge Pulido
Yellow Card
48' Madrid win a free-kick after Pulido pulls down Odriozola on the edge of the box.
47' SAVE! Madrid nearly start the second half with a goal, but Huesca have Santamaria to thank after some quick reactions. Madrid sent plenty of players forward, but Benzema is denied as he tried to find the bottom corner.
46' We are back underway in Madrid.
Zidane will be confident that his team can kick on and grab a second or third before the end of 90 minutes. Huesca are doing all they can to make a game of it, but their fans will be worried that the pace of the match will eventually become too much.
Referee Javier Estrada brings the first half to an end and it has certainly been an entertaining game in the capital. Huesca claimed the lead inside the first three minutes when Hernandez peeled away from his marker to find the far corner. Madrid then responded in brilliant fashion, with Isco tapping home a cross from Diaz after a fine team move. Huesca will feel they could have sneaked in front just before the interval, but they will still be content with their first-half display.
45' HALF-TIME - REAL MADRID 1-1 HUESCA.
44' CHANCE! Huesca will feel they should be in front, but Avila has fluffed his lines at the pivotal moment. A deflected cross from the left wing fell into his path but he had time to turn onto his left foot and shoot. Madrid did their best to pressure him and it worked as he fired over the crossbar.
41' We are now into the final five minutes of the first half and Huesca should be proud of their efforts. Despite being bottom of the league, they have competed with one of the giants of world football and created multiple chances.
38' The pace of the game continues to be relentless and that should suit Madrid star Bale. However, the Wales international has yet to get going inside the first 40 minutes.
35' Huesca try their luck from a corner, but Gomez's delivery is not converted by Etxeita. Madrid's defence switched off for a moment but he can only fire into the stands and it remains 1-1.
32' Huesca are still trying to threaten on the counter and both Hernandez and Avila have the pace to get in behind. The issue at present is they are just not getting the required service to cause problems on a regular basis.
30' Huesca have lost their last two LaLiga games and could lose three consecutive matches for the first time under Francisco if they do not improve their defending tonight.
27' Despite falling behind, Madrid have done well to regroup in the last 25 minutes. They have dominated possession and took total control and there is every chance they double their tally before the break.
Brahim Díaz
Assist
25' Diaz claims the assist and he deserved something from the move after a superb run. He showed no fear as he charged towards the Huesca box and his pace is going to trouble the visitors all night.
Isco
Goal
25' GOAAAAALLLL REAL MADRID 1-1 HUESCA - Isco finally gives Madrid the goal they have craved after another sensational team move. Diaz's pace caused chaos before he teed up Benzema, but the former Lyon man tried to be too cool and he was denied by Santamaria. However, the rebound fell to back to Diaz who squared the ball for Isco for a simple tap in from close range.
24' Both Marcelo and Odriozola continue to impress and they are flourishing in this system under Zidane. In recent months, the home side struggled to dominate games but the duo are certainly helping to turn Huesca back to their own goal.
22' Huesca are working hard in defence, but they are struggling to contain Madrid's pace down the flanks.
20' We are only 20 minutes in, but this has been a lively start from both teams and goals should be expected at both ends.
18' Huesca win a free-kick on the edge of the Madrid box but Gomez cannot curl his shot around the wall and he concedes a goal kick.
16' The home crowd rise to their feet, but the attack is stopped as Marcelo is flagged offside.
15' CHANCE!! Benzema is the latest Madrid player to go close, but the Frenchman cannot score as he shoots on the turn. Odriozola created the chance by throwing himself into a tackle in the Huesca box but Benzema is denied by Santamaría.
12' CHANCE! Madrid nearly draw level, but Ceballos is denied despite his best attempts with a backheel volley. Left-back Marcelo found plenty of space down the left wing before crossing but Ceballos could only fire past the near post. Huge warning that for Huesca.
9' Once again it is a fantastic atmosphere inside Santiago Bernabeu, but the home fans are yet to be rewarded for their support.
7' Madrid need to settle down and start to play through midfield but Ceballos, Llorente and Isco are yet to dictate the tempo of the game.
5' Madrid look stunned after conceding that early goal, but the nerves are bound to get to Huesca for the rest of the first half.
J. Hernández
Goal
3' GOAAAALLLLLL REAL MADRID 0-1 HUESCA - The home fans fall silent as Hernandez fires home from inside the box. Madrid struggled to contain the visitors down the right wing and Avila won back posession before running towards the box. He stayed composed when it mattered most, before teeing up Hernandez who fired past Zidane.
E. Ávila
Assist
3' Avila claims the assist after some great defensive work. He never allowed the Madrid defence to settle before charging towards the box and crossing for Hernandez.
1' We are underway!
Tonight's encounter could be special as it will be the first ever competitive game between Real Madrid and Huesca at Santiago Bernabeu.
Zidane makes five changes from the team that beat Celta Vigo 2-0.  Navas, Varane, Modric, Kroos and Asensio all drop out for Luca Zidane, Nacho, Llorente, Ceballos and Diaz. Francisco also makes five alterations as Etxeita, Gallan, Musto, Rivera and Hernandez all come in for Miramon, Dieguez, Ferreiro, Gallar and Gallego.
SUBS: Juanpi, Alex Gallar, Adrian Dieguez, Enric Gallego, Juan Aguilera, Aleksandar Jovanovic, Camacho.
HUESCA (5-3-2): Roberto Santamaria; Yangel Herrera, Xabier Etxeita, Martin Mantovani, Jorge Pulido, Javi Galan; Damian Musto, Moi Gomez, Christian Rivera; Ezequiel Avila.
SUBS: Jesus Vallejo, Lucas Vázquez, Sergio Reguilon, Mariano, Casemiro, Federico Valverde, Keylor Navas.
REAL MADRID (4-3-3): Luca Zidane; Alvaro Odriozola, Nacho, Sergio Ramos, Marcelo; Isco, Marcos Llorente, Dani Ceballos; Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema, Brahim Diaz.
The two sides last met in December, with Madrid winning by a single goal to nil. Huesca continue to struggle at present as they sit rock bottom of the league table.
The home side have improved their fortunes of late since rehiring manager Zinedine Zidane earlier this month. The Spanish giants have beaten Real Valladolid and Celta Vigo in recent weeks, while Huesca have won just one of their last five games.
Good evening and welcome to tonight's live coverage of the La Liga clash between Real Madrid and Huesca. Tonight's encounter will be played at Santiago Bernabeu as Madrid try to win their third game in a row.
