Commentary

That's all from us today folks, we hope you enjoyed the game.
Granada now top LaLiga, level on points with Atletico Madrid and Sevilla after playing five games, whilst Barcelona drop down to seventh. Granada's next game is on Tuesday, when they will face Valladolid and Barcelona return home to face Villarreal.
Barcelona fall to a shock 2-0 defeat away at newly promoted Granada, after an early goal from Azeez following a mistake by Junior at left-back. They led 1-0 at the break and despite Barcelona bringing on Messi and Fati at half-time, they were unable to break through the resilient Granada defence. The hosts doubled their lead midway through the half when Vidal was penalised for handball in the penalty area and Vadillo scored from the spot. They had a couple of other chances to score in the second period and deserved their victory.
90' + 3' FULL-TIME: GRANADA 2-0 BARCELONA
90' + 2' Granada with a free-kick in an excellent shooting position after Lenglet brings down Vadillo around 25 yards out. Vadillo steps up to take it, but it's straight into the wall.
90' There will be a minimum of three minutes added time played at the end of the game.
88' There's just a couple of minutes remaining on the clock now, is that long enough for Barcelona to get an equalising goal?
Carlos Fernández
Yellow Card
Granada
87' Carlos Fernandez is booked after his foul on Pique.
85' Suarez has scored five goals in five appearances against Granada in LaLiga, all five netted at Los Cármenes. He hasn't had any chances to score so far today.
M. Gonalons
Y. Herrera
Granada
83' Final Granada substitution, with Herrera heading off the pitch and he has been replaced by Gonalons.
82' CHANCES! Two opportunities for Barcelona within a minute, but Vidal's shot is blocked and then Messi sees his shot saved by Silva. It was lovely play by Fati, who crossed into the six yard box and Messi plays it off to Vidal on the edge of the box, but the shot is superbly blocked. The ball comes back into the penalty area, it falls to Messi, but he can't get enough power behind his shot and Silva makes a good save.
80' There is a cracking atmosphere inside the stadium, the home fans are urging their team forward, they can sense that victory is within their grasp.
78' Decent effort! Puertas with a long range effort, but it's straight at Ter Stegen, who makes a comfortable save.
76' Barcelona have certainly ramped up the pressure now as we enter the final 15 minutes of the game, but Silva is yet to make a good save to deny them. The Granada defence have been excellent.
74' Suarez and Griezmann have hardly touched the ball in the second half, with the latter being pushed out to the right wing and he just hasn't been effective from that position today.
72' At the moment it looks like Granada want it more, they are winning the first and second balls, chasing everything down and they look comfortable.
70' Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde has only won two of his last six LaLiga matches against Granada (D2 L2), with those victories coming in his two most recent such encounters (2-1 in September 2016 at Los Cármenes and 3-1 in February 2017 at San Mamés, both for Athletic).
68' CHANCE! Barcelona with a good opportunity as Fati does well down the left, he gets into the box and aims a shot towards the far corner of the net, but Silva gets down quickly and makes a good save. He had to gather that ball as Pique was lurking at the back post.
Vadillo
Penalty Goal
Granada
66' GOOOAAALLL! Granada double their lead, it's 2-0! Vadillo sends Ter Stegen the wrong way, slotting the ball into the bottom left-hand corner of the net as cool as you like.
65' PENALTY! Granada have been awarded a spot-kick! Can they double their lead? Vadillo is the man who is going to take it.
64' We're having a VAR check on the possible handball by Vidal! The referee is going over to the screen to have a look at the footage, it definitely strikes the arm of Vidal, but will the referee deem that to be enough for a penalty?
63' Goalmouth scramble! A low cross comes into the box and Vidal appears to handle the ball as he goes to clear, it then bounces around the six yard box, before Ter Stegen eventually gathers.
Vadillo
D. Machís
Granada
62' Another Granada change, with Vadillo coming onto the pitch, replacing Machis.
A. Vidal
I. Rakitić
Barcelona
62' Third and final Barcelona substitution, with Rakitic replaced by Vidal.
60' Fati has been Barcelona's best player in the second half, he's really trying to get at the Granada defence down the left wing. As we pass the hour mark, it's still Granada who lead 1-0.
Carlos Fernández
Soldado
Granada
58' Here is the Granada substitution and it's an enforced one as Soldado has picked up an injury, so he has been replaced by Carlos Fernandez.
56' It looks like Granada are about to make their first change of the game, they are just starting to sit deeper and deeper now, with Fati getting on the ball a lot. However, Suarez and Griezmann have been very quiet.
54' Barcelona have conceded two goals in each of their last three LaLiga matches – the last time they conceded two or more in more consecutive league games in the competition came back in May 2009 (four).
52' ALMOST! Granada so close to doubling their lead, but Ter Stegen just manages to stop the ball from going over the line. It's a mistake from the keeper, he drops a simple catch and it drops down towards the goal, but he manages to get hold of it just before it crosses the line and luckily he did as Soldado was lurking nearby.
50' Messi has taken the captain's armband from Pique for the second half, can he push them on and quickly get them back into the game?
50' Messi steps up to take a free-kick, but he drills the ball into the wall and Granada then clear the danger.
Y. Herrera
Yellow Card
Granada
49' Another yellow card is brandished within a minute, this time it's to Herrera after his foul on De Jong around 35 yards out.
Soldado
Yellow Card
Granada
48' Soldado is booked after his high challenge on Pique, catching the centre-back in the stomach with his studs. A painful one for the Barca man.
46' The second half is underway!
Ansu Fati
Junior Firpo
Barcelona
46' The other change sees Junior replaced by Fati.
L. Messi
Carles Pérez
Barcelona
46' Barcelona have made a double substitution at the break, with Perez coming off and he has been replaced by Messi.
Barcelona have Messi and Fati warming up on the pitch at half time, they need to do something to turn this game around because Granada look very comfortable at the moment.
Granada lead 1-0 at the break, after Azeez's goal after just two minutes following a huge mistake at the back by Junior. The left-back had the ball nicked off him by Soldado, who raced forward, played it to Puertas, who chipped it across the six-yard box for Azeez to finish at the far post. The hosts have had a couple of other chances, whilst Barcelona are yet to test Silva in the Granada goal. They've struggled to get going and the newly promoted side look full of confidence.
45' + 5' HALF-TIME: GRANADA 1-0 BARCELONA
45' + 5' Suarez has a weak shot blocked on the line by the Granada defence, but there was another player there just in case and it didn't seem to have enough pace on it to go into the back of the net.
Piqué
Yellow Card
Barcelona
45' + 4' Pique is booked after his arm strikes the arm of Soldado, although it appears to be a very harsh decision as the Granada striker makes a huge deal out of very little contact.
45' + 2' Still no chances on goal for Barcelona, Silva in the Granada net has just had a few catches to make and doesn't looked troubled so far.
45' There will be a minimum of four minutes added time played.
44' Stoppage in play here as Montoro is down injured, it looks like he is winded. The medical team are on the pitch, but he should be fine to continue.
42' Soldado hasn't had many touches on the ball so far, but he has been a nuisance in front of the Barcelona defence, making them hurry every pass and chases every ball.
40' There isn't much movement up top by the Barcelona forwards at the moment, they are keeping the ball better but are struggling to break through the hosts' defence, who have plenty of players back behind the ball.
38' There's not long left to play at the end of the first half now, can Barcelona score an equaliser before the break?
36' Decent effort! Herrera with a strike from long range after he had time and space to line up the shot. However, he gets it all wrong and it flies high over the crossbar.
35' Granada have won their last two LaLiga games, keeping a clean sheet in both. The last time they won three games without conceding in the competition was in 1971.
33' Almost! Granada lose concentration at the back and Suarez races through on goal, but he seems to get caught in two minds and gets crowded out after his shot is blocked. The ball then falls to Perez, but he also makes the wrong decision and Granada manage to clear the danger.
31' Granada are pressing high and are putting the Barcelona defence under a lot of pressure right now, forcing the errors. Soldado has just forced Pique into making a poor pass out to Semedo.
29' Good cross into the box by Perez, looking for the run of Suarez at the near post. However, Silva reads it well and manages to clear the danger just in time.
27' The home fans are really enjoying this so far, it'll be interesting to see how long Granada can keep this up. They are certainly taking their time with any set pieces and throw-ins.
25' We're midway through the first half now and Granada still look very comfortable, the hosts haven't really been tested by Barcelona yet and they are frustrating the champions.
23' Granada have won five of their 46 games against Barcelona in LaLiga (D4 L37), with all five victories coming on home soil. Their last win against the Blaugrana in the competition came back in April 2014 (1-0).
L. Suárez
Yellow Card
Barcelona
21' Suarez is furious with the decision to penalise him and he is also booked for the challenge and perhaps his reaction to the foul.
21' Into the wall! Suarez takes the free-kick and drills the ball straight into the Granada wall. Suarez then tries to reach the rebound, but Azeez gets their first and the striker then catches the midfielder and the hosts have a free-kick.
20' Barcelona with a free-kick opportunity in an excellent position after a heavy challenge on De Jong by Sanchez, an excellent run by the midfielder, beating a couple of Granada defenders before laying the ball off and getting clattered into.
18' Granada finally put the ball out of play as Suarez requires some medical treatment. It looks like he has been poked in the eye.
16' Suarez has gone down off the ball and is clutching his face after a clash with Diaz. The referee isn't interested in stopping play for the striker as there seems to be very little contact.
14' CHANCE! Puertas with a good opportunity to double Granada's lead! Ter Stegen has to get down quickly and push around the post. The winger was given far too much time and space to cut in from the right wing, onto his left foot and he tries to drill the ball into the bottom right-hand corner, but the Barca keeper does well and makes a good save.
12' Barcelona have won more games against Granada than any other team in LaLiga history (37 in total and 14 away from home).
10' Barcelona win the first corner of the game, after Griezmann's cross is blocked and goes out of play. However, they are unable to create anything with the set piece and Granada easily clear.
8' Barcelona are just starting to get a foothold in the game now, but Granada are sitting deep and have everyone back behind the ball, soaking up the pressure.
6' The hosts are keeping the ball well in the opening few minutes, Barcelona just haven't got going yet and they look nervous at the back.
4' There was a lengthy VAR check on the goal, so the game has just kicked off again. The officials were checking a potential foul on Lenglet in the build-up to the goal.
R. Azeez
Goal
Granada
2' GOOOAAALLL! Granada lead 1-0! Azeez with a simple finish from close range after a huge mistake by Junior. The left-back took too long on the ball and Soldado nicks the ball off his toes, sprints forward and plays a ball forward Puertas, who then chips the ball into the box for Azeez to finish at the far post. What a start by the home team!
1' We're underway!
The teams are out on the pitch and kick-off is just a few minutes away, stay tuned for all of the match action!
