That's all for now though, goodbye!
The result means that Bayern lead the formative table, while Frankfurt are bottom.
Bayern start the season in style with an impressive 6-1 win over Frankfurt. The visitors quickly laid down a marker in this game: Kimmich opened the scoring within five minutes when he netted with a wonderfully inventive 35-yard free-kick. And Pavard quickly doubled the lead with a fierce strike. Frankfurt were constantly outnumbered at the back in the first period and conceded chance after chance. It was no surprise when Mane made it three and Bayern ruthlessly added more before the break through Musiala and Gnabry. The game was over as a contest by the interval, but Frankfurt had the consolation of a strong performance from substitute Kolo Muani - the striker looked lively and pulled one back when he tackled Neuer. There was still time for another Bayern goal though and they got it when Musiala finished coolly late on.
89' De Ligt looks to make his mark from Kimmich's corner, but he fouls Jakic allowing Frankfurt to regroup.
87' The home fans are still behind Frankfurt, but this has been a difficult game for them to sit through. Bayern have totally dominated them.
85' Well, Frankfurt couldn't keep Bayern out for the whole half. The visitors finally have another goal to add to their five from the first period.

79' Close! Kimmich releases Sane with a superb lob into the box, but Sane's cut-back towards Mane is cut out!
77' Mane's been sensational for Bayern today on his first Bundesliga appearance. He's scored once and has been a constant menace, producing five shots. Bayern fans will be hoping for more of the same this season.
75' Save! Mane breaks in behind the Frankfurt defence again and rounds Trapp! However, the goalkeeper scrambles back to superbly tip Mane's goalbound shot wide!

61' Kolo Muani has been busy since coming on at half-time. This time the striker leads a counter-attack on his own and eventually holds the ball up with teammates arriving. The move ends with Knauff firing a tame effort at Neuer from 25 yards.
O. N'Dicka

Frankfurt get the second half started.
Bayern produced 12 shots from inside the box in that half, and if they repeat their dominance this could get even worse for Frankfurt.
Bayern blow Frankfurt away with five first-half goals - and it could have been more. The visitors have ripped through Frankfurt at will today, and they got to work quickly. Kimmich made it 1-0 early on with an inventive free-kick from distance, before Pavard doubled the lead with a fierce strike. Frankfurt couldn't get to grips with Bayern's pace on the break and they unravelled three more times. First, Mane opened his account with a header, before Musiala tapped in Muller's pass. And Gnabry got in on the act shortly after with a crisp dink over Trapp. All in all, it's been a sensational half for Bayern and one to forget for Frankfurt.
45' + 1' Two minutes of stoppage time are added on.
45' Frankfurt are in disarray. Bayern have been creating one-on-ones with Trapp constantly in this first half and it could have been more than five goals.
T. Müller
43' It's another assist for Muller who showed the quick thinking to set Gnabry free there - and the attacker made no mistake.
S. Gnabry
43' GOAL! GNABRY! 5-0. Mane beats Rode to a loose ball and finds Muller, who instantly flicks it through to Gnabry! Gnabry approaches Trapp before dinking it over the goalkeeper and into the bottom corner!
41' Rode goes down clutching his ankle and Frankfurt finally get a break to try and get their breath back.
39' Frankfurt seem constantly outnumbered at the back. It's surprising that they haven't altered their formation yet.
37' It's hard to overstate how good Bayern have been going forward. They've looked like scoring with every attack and Frankfurt simply haven't been able to cope.
T. Müller
35' Muller's been a constant threat tonight and he's rewarded with an assist following a selfless pass to set up Musiala.
J. Musiala
35' GOAL! MUSIALA! 4-0. Bayern pour forward again and a beautiful move ends with Muller tapping it around Trapp, allowing an unmarked Musiala to nudge it into an empty net!
34' Bayern have put in a superb attacking performance so far. They've managed 15 shots and three goals inside the opening 35 minutes.
33' Close! Mane darts in behind yet again and he fires a shot against Ndicka before collecting the rebound and lofting a shot narrowly over from close range!
31' Bayern are cutting through Frankfurt at will right now. The hosts desperately need to tighten up or Bayern could run up many more goals.
S. Gnabry
29' Gnabry could have easily taken a shot from a tight angle. But instead, he selflessly picked out Mane who finished accurately.
S. Mané
29' GOAL! MANE! 3-0. The visitors slice through Frankfurt again. An intricate move ends with Gnabry getting to the byline and lofting the perfect cross for Mane to head home at the near post!
29' Off the bar! Almost another for Bayern. Musiala's 20-yard shot takes a deflection, forcing Trapp into a fingertip save to push it onto the bar! Mane's follow-up is blocked, but he was offside anyway.
28' MISS! Frankfurt waste a huge chance to get back into the game! An intricate move ends with Lindstrom skipping past Hernandez to find himself through on goal! The attacker approaches Neuer before sliding his shot narrowly wide of the post!
26' Big miss! Musiala releases Mane clean through on goal and the attacker draws Trapp out before squaring it to Muller! Muller has an open goal at his mercy, but - under pressure from Tuta - he pokes it against the post, before it ricochets back off his head and wide!
24' Knauff clips a dangerous ball over the top in search of Lindstrom, but Neuer races off his line to get there first and clear.
22' Knauff loses out to Davies and lets his frustration show with a late lunge on Hernandez. The referee doesn't show a card, but it sums up Frankfurt's clumsy start so far.
20' Bayern scored the most goals in the Bundesliga from corners last season with 11, and they've already got up and running for this campaign. Frankfurt will be frustrated that they couldn't neutralise this obvious threat.
18' Frankfurt show a little more determination as they finally clear a Bayern corner safely.
16' Chance! Mane approaches the edge of the box before slipping a clever pass through to Musiala. The attacker takes a touch before hammering an eight-yard strike into the side netting from a tight angle!
14' Well, it's been a poor start from the hosts. They've looked rusty in defence and Bayern have ruthlessly taken advantage with two excellent finishes.
12' Off the bar! Almost an immediate response from Frankfurt. Tuta rises highest at the back post to steer a header against the bar following Gotze's corner!
B. Pavard
10' GOAL! PAVARD! 2-0. Frankfurt struggle to clear their lines following Kimmich's corner. Eventually it falls to Muller whose strike deflects into the path of Pavard who lashes an eight-yard strike into the far corner beyond a motionless Trapp!
10' A quick free-kick releases Pavard near the byline, but the fullback's cross is turned behind for a corner.
9' Bayern search for a second as they flow forward on the break. It eventually reaches Gnabry on the edge of the box, but Ndicka blocks his shot.
7' Well, Bayern have made a dream start. Trapp will complain that the smoke obscured his vision from the free-kick, but it was a moment of inspiration from Kimmich to attempt that effort.
J. Kimmich
5' GOAL! KIMMICH! 1-0. Bayern take an early lead. Kimmich lines up a free-kick from 35 yards, facing the smoke from the home fans. The midfielder craftily opts to take an audacious shot at goal and it catches Trapp out! Kimmich's effort bounces into the bottom corner with the goalkeeper left scrambling and unsighted!
4' The home fans are making an incredible noise right now as they continue to celebrate their Europa League win. The end Bayern are attacking is covered in smoke from the home fans.
3' Muller quickly forces an early corner as his cross deflects behind. Kimmich whips it in and Mane sends a header high and wide.
1' Bayern kick off the first half.
The players are emerging from the tunnel and kick off is just seconds away!
In five of his six Premier League campaigns for Liverpool, Bayern's new signing Mane scored in his first away game of the season, including on his debut for the Reds in a 4-3 win at Arsenal in August 2016. Bayern are unchanged following their 5-3 victory over Leipzig in the DFL-Supercup. The main news is that Mane starts, while their other big new signing – De Ligt – remains on the bench.

Last season ended in glory for Frankfurt, as they lifted won the Europa League on penalties against Rangers.
