The mercurial Aussie stole the show as a number of others also impressed

The Socceroos claimed a comfortable 4-0 win against Kuwait on Tuesday morning to begin Graham Arnold's second stint as manager on the right note.

Having broken through the ranks under Arnold at Central Coast Mariners, Tom Rogic stole the show in Kuwait and reminded fans why he is one of Australia's brightest talents.

A number of other players took their chance to impress, but it wasn't all smooth sailing for those in green and gold.

Check out Goal's ratings for every Australian player below.

  • Danny Vukovic

    Rating: 7/10

A quiet night at the office for the stand in number one, but his distribution was reliable and he made a strong save early in the second half.

  • Josh Risdon Socceroos

    Josh Risdon

    Rating: 6/10

A tireless performance from the right back, who still hasn't quite made the position his own.

  • Mark Milligan Socceroos 2018

    Mark Milligan

    Rating: 7/10

A solid performance from the stand-in skipper. Did just enough to keep Kuwait at bay and his distrubition from the back is a real asset.

  • Trent Sainsbury Socceroos

    Trent Sainsbury

    Rating: 5/10

May have kept a clean sheet but the defender looked a little rusty at the back with one or two misplaced passes and also picked up a yellow card.

  • Aziz Behich Socceroos

    Aziz Behich

    Rating: 7/10

Just as good going forward as he was reliable at the back. A lack of club minutes not yet doing Behich any harm as he further locks down the left-back spot.

  • Massimo Luongo

    Massimo Luongo

    Rating: 8/10

Made the most of a rare start with a strong all-round performance. Got stuck in with his defensive duties and proved a handful on the ball.

  • Jackson Irvine Australia v United Arab Emirates World Cup qualifying 28032017

    Jackson Irvine

    Rating: 7/10

Did well to fill the shoes of Mile Jedinak. Played particularly defensive and though guilty of a few stray passes, appears a solid replacement in the heart of midfield.

  • Tom Rogic

    Tom Rogic

    Rating: 9/10

Seemed to cherish playing under Arnold again. Played with a level of energy we don't often see in him and was a class above on the ball. Took his goal well and will be invaluable should he start scoring regularly for the green and gold.

  • Mathew Leckie Socceroos

    Mathew Leckie

    Rating: 6/10

One of the Socceroos most dangerous attackers looked a bit rusty against Kuwait as he comes back from injury. A few poor passes mixed in with some well-timed runs.

  • Robbie Kruse Thailand v Australia World Cup qualifying 15112016

    Robbie Kruse

    Rating: 7/10

A lively performance from the winger, who got forward dangerously and looked a lot more confident in the final third than he did at times in Russia

  • Apostolos Giannou

    Apostolos Giannou

    Rating: 8/10

His goal may have been a tap in, but he showed real striker's instincts to pounce on the chance and looks ready to seize every opportunity that comes his way under Arnold.

  • Daniel Arzani Socceroos

    Daniel Arzani: 6/10

Lively cameo but put two shots well wide.

    Tomi Juric: 7/10

A great run and pass to set up the Socceroos fourth and final goal.

    Awer Mabil: 7/10

Looked lively in the final third and took his goal well.

    Thomas Deng: N/A
