Mamelodi Sundowns' mid-season report card: Assessing the Brazilians' new signings

Mamelodi Sundowns signed seven players for the 2022/23 season as they prepared to launch another bid for a record-extending sixth straight league title.

The quest to reclaim the Caf Champions League title has also been attributed to the big signings made by the Tshwane giants.

To show their seriousness, Masandawana went as far as South America, North Africa and East Africa to bring in new players.

They even convinced a player to return home from France and play Premier Soccer League football again.

Masandawana also invaded the local market, signing players from Cape Town City and Tshwane rivals SuperSport United.
