William Troost-Ekong scores on Bursaspor debut

William Troost-Ekong made an immediate impression as he opened scoring in Bursaspor’s 3-0 defeat of Leeds United.

The Nigeria international who joined the Turkish Super Lig side from Gent earlier this month, broke the deadlock with a 13th minute goal that proved to be the only difference before half-time.

After the restart, Tomas Necid and Sinan Bakış compounded the woes of the Thomas Christiansen’s men who could not find the back of the net in the entirety of the game.
