The Algerian outfit remains winless in the Caf Champions League group stage after their latest defeat to the Moroccans

USM Alger’s bid for a first win in the Caf Champions League group phase ended on a sour note after losing 3-1 to Wydad Casablanca.

Goals from Walid El Karti, Badie Aouk, and Kasendi Kasengu helped the hosts to a comprehensive 3-0 first half win inside Stade Mohammed V, Casablanca.

However, the visitors pulled one back through Mohamed Meftah in the 79th minute which could not inspire a comeback in Morocco.
