Its now confirmed that Mbwana Samatta will miss the Benin clash due to a knee injury. It has been further revealed that Samatta will undergo a knee surgery and he will be on the sidelines for 8 weeks.

Taifa Stars will face Benin without its captain and the full squad that has travelled to Benin consist of Aishi Manula, Peter Manyika, Gadiel Michael, Boniphas Maganga, Kelvin Yondani, Nurdin Chona, Himid Mao, Hamis Abdallah, Raphael Daudi, Mohamed Issa, Jonas Mkude, Mudathir Yahya, Simon Msuva, Shiza Kichuya, Faridi Mussa,  Ibrahim Ajib, Mbaraka Yusuph na Elias Maguli.


Libya set to grace CECAFA Tournament


North African football power-house, Libya will grace the 2017 East and Central Africa Football Association (Cecafa) Senior Challenge Cup tournament set to kick-off on November 25 to December 10

Simba in trouble over Coach work permit


Simba has been issued a strong warning due to violating the League procedure and regulations during the match against Njombe Mji.

Simba has been given a warning for Assistant coach Masoud Djuma  starting work without having a living permit or work permit in the country, the decision has been made in accordance with Rule 40 (13) of the Premier League on Coach Control.

The club has also been required to submit to the League a copy of the permits, and reminded that the requirements of the documents are in accordance with the Code of the League, but also the laws of the country.
