Tshwane giants Mamelodi Sundowns are set for a tough league campaign with matches likely to come thick and fast.
The Chloorkop-based club will attempt to balance their commitments on three different fronts. They will also have the opportunity to compete in a once-off match against TP Mazembe in the Caf Super Cup later this month.
Masandawana star forward Sibusiso Vilakazi is already looking forward to what will be a test of depth and quality for Pitso Mosimane's men.
“It’s going to be a busy period but we have a good squad to juggle the demands,” Vilakazi told The Weekend Argus.
“We have a lot of quality players who can handle the hectic schedule. For us, this is an interesting phase because such challenges excite us," he said.
Vila aims to help Sundowns win the Caf Super Cup after having watched from the stands as his teammates clinched the Caf Champions League last year.
“We have worked hard for what will come. Watching from the sidelines, the only thing I could do was to support the team. It was important for me to support them. It made me feel good that at least I am doing something, but now I will be involved in the action,” Vilakazi concluded.
