Unhappy Deutsche 'accept' Abia Warriors' loss to Go Round

Abia Warriors head coach Emmanuel Deutsche is unhappy but he has accepted defeat following his side 1-0 loss to Go Round at the Krisdera Hotel Stadium on Sunday.

Oton Otop's second minute strike was all Ngozi Elechi's men required to compound the woes of Ucendu Warriors, who are now without a win in five straight matches.

The troubled gaffer, who had watched his side struggled in last five games, is confident they will put an end to their ugly run in next clash with Yobe Desert Stars.

"It was a good game for the two teams but when you lose a match, there is nothing to be happy about. We did not do enough against our hosts,” Deutsche told Goal.

"Go Round won the match by 1-0 and we have accepted the defeat in good faith as the game did not end favourably for us.

"We are not happy with our recent results but we will go back home and re-assess ourselves.

“We made a change and it was not a bad change. We changed Obi, not because he is a bad player but I do not know what happened to him.

"We have to prepare well for our next game and ensure we do all we can to win in order to improve on our current position. I hope we bounce back against Yobe Desert Stars."

The loss saw Abia Warriors fell to 19th position on the league log with eight points from eight matches.
