Tusker goalkeeper Patrick Matasi is set to join Ethiopian club St. Georges, Goal can authoritatively report.
According to a close source to the Tusker custodian, Matasi is set to depart for Ethiopia on Monday to complete the move.
Goal reported in August about the impending transfer even though Tusker denied the reports. But Goal can now reveal that the former Posta Rangers skipper, who was on goal in Kenya's victory against Ethiopia on Sunday, has finally agreed to pen a deal with the Ethiopian Premier League side.
“He is leaving tomorrow (Monday) for Ethiopia. He’s been waiting for the move abroad, but it has finally come,” said our source, who did not want to be named.
The Kenyan international moved to Ruaraka from Posta Rangers in the mid-season transfer window.
