Trezeguet, Mbaye Diagne combine to help Kasimpasa edge Bursaspor

The African stars ran the show in the Timsah Arena as the Apaches secured their seventh league win of the season

Mbaye Diagne and Mahmoud Trezeguet scored a goal each as Kasimpasa pipped Bursaspor to secure a 2-1 victory in Sunday's Turkish Super Lig outing.

Diagne extended his dominance at summit of the league scorers' chart with 11 goals from 12 games while the Egyptian winger registered his fifth goal and fourth assist of the season.

The Senegal international opened the scoring for Mustapha Denizli's men in the 22nd minute after being set up by Trezeguet.

But the lead lasted for only four minutes as the hosts levelled through Ertugrul Ersoy as both sides went into the break tied.

Three minutes after the restart, Trezeguet notched the match winner for the visiting side.

Nigeria's Emem Eduok was on parade for 82 minutes while Senegal duo Diafra Sakho and Stephane Badji were in action for Bursaspor.

Kasimpasa are third in the Turkish Super Lig table with 22 points from 12 games and they welcome Yeni Malatyaspor next on November 25.
