‘There is more to come from Abraham’, says Swansea City’s Olsson

Swansea City defender Martin Olsson has warned that 'there is more to come from' Tammy Abraham.

Against West Bromwich Albion, the 20-year-old rescued a point for Carlos Carvalhal’s men with 15 minutes left on the clock to cancel out Jay Rodriguez’s opener.

And the Swedish left-back has backed the Anglo-Nigerian to continue his goalscoring form in their remaining six Premier League games.

“That goal will be good for his confidence. He has worked hard after training on his finishing, so it is a reward for that,” Olsson told club website.

“But we want more from him in the next six games – I know there is more to come from him because he is a good player.

“When we went forward on Saturday the final ball wasn’t good enough and we didn’t really give him good enough service, but he worked hard.

“He will be an important player for us in the remaining games, that’s for sure.”

The Chelsea loanee has now registered eight goals for Swansea this season since he arrived at the Liberty Stadium outfit in the summer of 2017.

He will be looking forward to a similar display when the Swans try Everton for size in their next league outing on April 14.
