Melbourne City have secured the services of Zeljko Kalac as their goalkeeper coach for the next A-League season.
The Covert Agent can reveal that Kalac has signed a deal with City after the club's previous goalkeeping coach Jess Van Stratten departed for Melbourne Victory.
Stratten's move comes after Dean Anastasiadis announced his sudden retirement and ended his football career with a suspension for his role in Victory's on-field altercation with David Carney in their semi-final win over Sydney FC.
For Kalac, his move to City comes after a failed stint in Turkey with Tony Popovic, a coach he hasn't linked back up with at Perth Glory.
Kalac was recruited by Popovic to Western Sydney Wanderers in 2015 from Sydney FC, who he began his coaching career with in 2011.
It's been a busy off-season to date for coaches with Sydney FC also recently announcing new coach Steve Corica will be joined by Uruf Talay as his assistant.
