Super Falcons beat Eleven Sisters de Gagnoa in friendly

Nigeria women stepped up their preparations for the 2018 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations with a comfortable 4-0 victory over Cote d’Ivoire’s Eleven Sisters de Gagnoa.

Eleven Sisters who are reigning Ivorian women’s champions were three goals down with thanks to goals from Asisat Oshoala, Desire Oparonozie and Francesca Ordega.

In the second half, Thomas Dennerby’s side added the fourth as the hosts defended their deficit to prevent further embarrassment.

The Super Falcons are putting all hands on deck towards ensuring a successful expedition in Ghana.

Nigeria are paired alongside Equatorial Guinea, Zambia and South Africa in Group B. They face Banyana Banyana in their opening fixture on November 18 at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium, Cape Coast.
