Super Eagles arrive Johannesburg for South Africa showdown

Nigeria have arrived in Johannesburg for their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against South Africa.

The Super Eagles will take on Stuart Baxter's men at the FNB Stadium and will aim to avenge their 2-0 first leg defeat in Uyo back in June 2017.

After a four-day training camp in Asaba, the three-time African champions departed Nigeria on Thursday evening and landed at the O.R Tambo International Airport in the early hours of Friday.

They will return to Asaba for Tuesday's international friendly match against Uganda at the Stephen Keshi Stadium.

The Super Eagles lead the Group E standings with nine points from four games and a win against the Bafana Bafana guarantees their return to the continental showpiece since their triumph in 2013.
