The Morocco international relishes his fine start to life in Spain and hopes his team end their five-game winless streak

Sofiane Boufal has declared that he feels 'really happy' and 'really good' in the Spanish top-flight with Celta Vigo.

Boufal joined the Sky Blues temporarily for the 2018-19 season from Southampton in the summer to have regular playing time after falling out with manager Mark Hughes.

With two goals in his first six league matches, the 25-year-old is pleased with life in the Spanish city and the reception he has received from the club and fans so far.

"I can’t say anything bad because I’m really happy with the city, the way fans have treated me and with the club as well," Boufal told Marca.

“It’s too soon to know what will happen, but I will say once again that I feel really good at Celta, but my work is on the pitch and the work in offices is for other people."

Celta are yet to win a match since September 1 but are placed 10th in the La Liga table with eight points from eight games.

And the former Lille and Angers wideman is optimistic that they 'will soon' rediscover their winning form when they return to action against Deportivo Alaves on October 19.

"I like to be part of a team that plays football well and Celta knows how to do it. Admittedly, the adverse results are affecting us, but confidence will soon be regained with goals and more victories, that's for sure," he concluded.
