The Socceroos left-back certainly knows how to get forward with full effect

Fresh from three strong performances at the World Cup for Australia, Aziz Behich has started pre-season with a bang in Turkey.

The left-back struck in the 37th minute for Bursaspor in a friendly against fellow Turkish outfit Afjet Afyonspor to secure his side a 1-0 win.

Despite being a defender, Behich showed his growing ability in the final third last season netting five goals across 31 league appearances.

The 27-year-old clearly happy to start the pe-season with another goal.

Behich has been previously linked with a move to China and Turkish giants Galatasaray but is staying put for now ahead of what stands to be his fifth season with Bursaspor.

The Socceroo started his career with Melbourne Victory before switching over to Melbourne City where he was briefly loaned out to Bursaspor in 2013 before making the move permanent a year later.
