Siphelele Ntshangase set to finalize Kaizer Chiefs move in the next few days

Amakhosi are in advanced talks with Baroka over the possibility of signing Ntshangase, and the deal could be finalized in the next few days

Baroka FC midfielder Siphelele Ntshangase is set to finalize his dream move to Kaizer Chiefs soon after the opening of the January transfer window.

According to local reports, the 24-year-old will join Amakhosi before the start of the second half of the 2017/18 PSL season after Baroka confirmed that they were in advanced talks with Amakhosi over a possible move.

Ntshangase, one of the brightest talents in South African football in recent years, joined Bakgakga Ba Mphahlele from Black Leopards in August 2017.

He made 10 appearances for Kgoloko Thobejane's team in the first of the campaign, but Baroka are resigned to losing him to Chiefs in January.

Amakhosi have not been gone public on their targets as yet, but indications are that he will move to Naturena before the upcoming transfer window slams shut.

Steve Komphela admitted in his recent interviews that the Glamour Boys would be looking to bolster their attacking department in their New Year, although he wasn't specific in the players the club was targeting.

Ntshangase had been a long target for Amakhosi, but the Soweto giants failed in their attempt to lure him to Naturena during the July/August transfer window.

Reports suggest that Ntshangase will be handed the No.10 shirt, with Keagan Buchanan set to join Cape Town City for the second half of the season.
