Singida United have entered the race to sign Yanga forward Obrey Chirwa at the end of the season Goal has learned.

Simba were initially the only team to express their interest in the striker and it was reportedly that there are ongoing negotiations with the striker who will be a free agent at the end of this season.

According to Singida United’s Vice Chairman Abrahman Sima, the club want an experienced striker to improve the squad if they will get a chance to feature in the CAF Confederation Cup next season.

Singida United will play JKT Tanzania on April 20 in the FA cup semi-final clash and and a win in the competition could gurentee them a spot in the CAF competition next season.

“We want an experienced player who will improve our squad especially in the CAF Confederation Cup if we will get a chance to feature” said Sima.
