Samuel Eto’o's brace fires Antalyaspor to victory over Karabukspor

The 36-year-old netted a goal in either half to power the Scorpions past Tony Popovic's side at the New Antalya Stadium

Samuel Eto'o was the hero for Antalyaspor as his brace handed them a 2-1 win over Karabukspor in Saturday's Turkish Super Lig encounter.

The former Cameroon international gave the hosts the lead just four minutes into the game but Mustapha Yatabare levelled for the Blue Flame in the 60th minute.

However, the ex-Barcelona forward grabbed his second of the game with 25 minutes left to play to steer Leonardo Araujo’s side to their third win of the season.

The result saw them move to 13th in the Turkish topflight log.

Eto’o who was replaced by Moestafa El Kabir in the 90th minute scored his fourth and fifth league goals of the season in eleven appearances.
