'We could have done better' - Hertha Berlin's Kalou on Bayern Munich draw

Salomon Kalou despite expressing satisfaction with Hertha Berlin’s 2-2 draw with Bayern Munich believed they could have done better.

Pál Dárdai's side required the interventions of Ondrej Duda and the Ivorian forward to rescue a point for them after Mats Hummels and Robert Lewandowski had given the Bavarians a two-goal lead.

“I think it is a good point,” Kalou said in a post-match interview.

“We came back from 2-0 to 2-2. We can be satisfied but I think we could (have done) better.

“In the first half we could (have) played more football.

“I think we were a bit scared of Bayern; it is a great team. They always have players who can make the difference.

“I think 2-2 is a good result,” he concluded.

The forward will be hoping for a better result when Hertha Berlin square up against Schalke 04 in their next league game on October 14.
