NPFL fixtures: Nasarawa United host Plateau United, MFM FC visit Abia Warriors on opening weekend
Champions Plateau United will start the 2017-18 Nigeria Professional Football League season away to Nasarawa United, while Heartland will welcome Sunshine Stars to Dan Anyiam Stadium on the opening weekend.
Go Round FC’s first game in the top flight will be away at Wikki Tourists, while John Obuh’s Kwara United host Niger Tornadoes.
MFM FC will hope to emerge as league champions for the first time and will head to Abia Warriors on the opening weekend, which is January 14.
FC Ifeanyi Ubah will begin the new season at home to newly promoted Yobe Stars, El Kanemi Warriors are away to Rivers United and Akwa United take on Enugu Rangers at Godswill Akpabio Stadium.
The remaining fixtures on the opening weekend of the season see Katsina United at home to Kano Pillars and Enyimba travel to Lobi Stars.
