Oshoala and Ebi outshine Sane in Living Room Cup's side steps challenge

Nigeria duo Asisat Oshoala and Onome Ebi beat Germany forward Leroy Sane in the 'side steps challenge' of the third week of the Living Room Cup amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Top leagues and sporting events remain suspended globally due to the Covid-19 outbreak, which has now affected more than two million people and killed over 161,000.

Top football stars across the world are observing self-isolation to avoid the spread of the coronavirus and a number of African women's stars are taking several contests in a bid to stay fit.

Two weeks ago, Caster Semenya edged compatriot Janine Van Wyk, Oshoala, Desire Oparanozie, Rita Chikwelu, and launcher Cristiano Ronaldo in an ab challenge in partnership with Nike.

Semenya beat the Portuguese 's record of 142 as the South African star finished 176 reps in just 45 seconds, while Oshoala managed 119 reps, Van Wyk 86, Oparanozie 64 and Chikwelu 98.

This week, Sane started the side steps challenge on his Instagram, managing 100 points in 45 seconds - a feat Oshoala and Ebi broke, raking up 106 and 103 respectively, and Oparanozie 91.
