Neymar joins Ronaldinho & Zlatan in exclusive goalscoring club

Neymar is set for a number of new experiences during his debut campaign at Paris Saint-Germain, and Sunday was no different.

The world-record summer signing took part in his first ever Classique as the Ligue 1 leaders travelled to Stade Velodrome to take on bitter rivals Marseille.

And despite fellow Brazilian Luiz Gustavo opening the scoring for the home side, it did not take long for Neymar to get in on the action as he equalised after 33 minutes.

In doing so, the former Barcelona forward has become just the third player since the turn of the century to score in both the Classique in France and the Clasico in Spain.

He joins Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Ronaldinho in the exclusive club, with both having also completed the feat while playing for Barca and PSG.

As entertainers go, it is not bad company to be keeping, and Neymar will be hopeful to keep breaking new ground as the campaign wears on.
