Nakumatt FC is set to confirm Melis Medo as their new head coach on Friday in a yet to be confirmed venue, Goal has learnt.
The American tactician has reportedly been the reason behind the shoppers' sudden rise and the management has been impressed.
A mole from the team has intimated to Goal the changes are meant to help the team perform even better in the second leg.
"It is true we are making some changes, Medo will be unveiled on Friday as our head coach.
"He has been outstanding in the few weeks he has been with us, contributing immensely to our rise.
"Mwangi, no, we are not letting him go, he will serve as our assistant.
"We will be active in the transfer window as well because we want to build a strong team."
After struggling in the first leg, Nakumatt are currently 12th on the log with 20 points.
Nakumatt have won the last five games with the last success coming against Wazito whom they beat 3-0 on Wednesday.
