Michael Olunga's goal steers Kashiwa Reysol to a first victory in eight games

Michael Olunga scored his third goal in the Japanese League to help Kashiwa Reysol end a seven-game winless run.

Reysol completed the job in the first half in a 3-0 victory over Sanfrecce on Saturday. The Harambee Stars forward hit Kashiwa's third goal in the 35th minutes to add to Junya Ito’s brace.

Ito scored two quick goals within a span of five minutes after he opened the floodgate in the 23rd minute and was on target again in the 27th minute before handing over the scoring boot to Olunga, who completed the job in the 35th minute as Reysol picked their first victory after eight games.

The Harambee Stars forward has hit the form at the right time as Kenya prepares to take on Ethiopia in the Afcon Qualifying match on October 10. Olunga is expected to link up with the rest of the squad in Ethiopia on Monday ahead of the Wednesday’s clash.
