MFM needed victory over Wikki Tourist badly - Adebayo Waheed
MFM's Adebayo Waheed says his side wanted badly in their quest to gain a psychological boost.
Fidelis Ilechukwu's side bowed 1-0 to Plateau United in Jos before they suffered a recent road mishap, but they made up with the triumph over Mbwas Magnut's men.
And the striker, who inspired the Olukoya Boys' win, was pleased to grab his second goal in four appearances and is confident of delivering more goals for the Lagos based side.
"I'm just trying my best training every time because I have a scoring target for me this season. I really don't want to disclose that now but ready to work harder," Waheed told media.
"It was not an easy match for us. We needed the victory badly. We lost in Jos against Plateau United and had an accident on our way back but we survived the incident. It helped us recover well.
"The victory is a huge motivation for us. It won't let us relent as a team and put more efforts to keep winning. It is a big experience to be above average on the field of play. Personally, I really enjoy playing football.
"If I am not good, the coach will not have brought me here. The coach had seen the quality in me before bringing me here and I have great belief in myself as a player that I have what it takes to do well with the team."
