MFM can shock Pillars in Kano, says Wilfred Ammeh

MFM's Wilfred Ammeh believes his side can emerge victorious against Kano Pillars in Sunday's Nigeria Professional Football League clash at Sani Abacha Stadium.

Fidelis Ilechukwu's men had defeated Wikki Tourist 2-1 last Sunday to secure their third win of the season and climb up to 10th position on the league log.

And the former Niger Tornadoes man insists they put up their best performance yet to earn at least a point to improve their away form on their third visit to Pyramid City.

"We have worked hard to win our three home games this season. Now, we need to give our best to begin to do well away from home," Ammeh told Goal.

"The team has not been consistent and I believe we must work extra hard to get better results, more importantly when playing away matches.

"We are ready for Kano Pillars and I have no doubt that we can shock them in front of their home fans. It will not be easy but nothing is impossible.

"We are aware of how strong and good they are this season but I’m confident we can pick at least a point here and that's what we are targeting.

"Before now we've visited Kano twice, we could not get anything and our last one was a bad result for us. We will come out to attack and also defend very well."
