Azam FC skipper Himid Mao is confident that his club will return to winnng titles next season.
The Ice Cream Makers are currently chasing the second position with Yanga in the Premier League this season.
Azam is also set to miss out on CAF competitions for second time in a row after being eliminated by Mtibwa Sugar in FA cup semi-final last month.
Speaking to Goal, Mao said that it has been a disappointing season for them but they will try to fight for glory next season.
“We are very disappointed with some of the result that have kept us in a poor position, however, we will try to restore our pride next season,” said Mao.
Azam who are under Romanian boss Aristica Ciaoba have already starting to plan for next season and it has been reportedly that, Hans van Pluijm will take over as new boss next season.
