Kaizer Chiefs striker Leonardo Castro has started training with his new team-mates.

The marksman, who officially joined Amakhosi from their Gauteng rivals Mamelodi Sundowns last week, arrived at the Chiefs Village on Tuesday after having returned from Colombia.

“This is a big day for me. I am happy to join a big team like Kaizer Chiefs," Castro told the club's official website.

The highly-rated Colombian forward won the PSL title and Cups with Sundowns, including the Caf Champions League.

“I appreciate the opportunity to play for Chiefs and I will make sure to repay the confidence and trust the club have shown in me," he continued.

“Big teams like Chiefs need to win trophies and participate in international tournaments like the African Champions League," Castro indicated.

"The club is very professionally run and I want to bring my goals to help the team succeed," he added.

“I want to help Chiefs win championships,” Castro promised the supporters.
