AFC Leopards have reportedly returned with a second bid to sign Nzoia Sugar striker Elvis Rupia.

Ingwe are understood to have approached Rupia, one of the most sought-after players in Kenya currently, with an improved deal as they seek to secure the services of the KPL leading scorer.

Rupia has scored 15 league goals for Nzoia Sugar, just two shy of the 2017 total tally by the Golden Boot winner, Masoud Juma.

According to sources within the club, AFC Leopards called up a meeting with Rupia to convince him to switch allegiance.

The meeting could also throw into doubt a possible move to Zambian side Power Dynamos, who are also interested in his signature, though they are yet to make a formal offer.
