Kariobangi Sharks test awaits Gor Mahia after Caf Confederation Cup setback

Gor Mahia will have to forget the painful memories of losing a place in the Caf Confederation Cup quarters when they take on Kariobangi Sharks on Sunday.

K’Ogalo paid the price of fixture congestion after crashing out of the continental games. The Kenyan representative needed just a point to progress to the quarters, but ended up falling 2-1 to USM Alger away in Algeria.

Dylan Kerr and his charges will now shift focus on how they can dethrone AFC Leopards of the FKF Shield title when they tackle Sharks in the quarters at Machakos.
