Lokosa marked his return to Pillars with two well-taken goals including the match-winner in their 4-3 win in the semi-final of the Kano FA Cup played on Tuesday and he stated that his priority, for now, is to ensure that Sai Masu Gida retain the state organized competition on Friday against their Feeder team.
He said he saw his experience in the Eagles camp as a phase and that he would like to concentrate on his career now with Pillars so that his good form could earn him another invitation to the team in the future.
“It was a wonderful experience that will continue to live with me. I enjoyed my stay in camp and I was well received and welcomed,” Lokosa told Goal.
“I don’t really want to say much on my experience there because I am no longer there and I am trying to help my club now in the FA Cup and the league. It was deliberate I was omitted from the last weekend game with Abia Warriors because I needed few days to clear my head.
“I am fully back now and I played an FA Cup game yesterday (Tuesday) for my team and I scored two goals. It was a tough game but I am pleased that we are through to the final of the FA Cup now.
“I hope to play some part in the final game on Thursday to use it as a form of preparation for the weekend league game with Rivers United. I want to help my team as much as possible and it is my sole focus for now.”
Lokosa is still the leading marksman in the top-flight with 18 goals from 20 matches and he needs just six more goals to beat the all-time record set by Mfon Udoh of Enyimba three seasons ago which stood at 23 goals.
