A hard-fought comeback from Yussif Basigi's ladies proved productive as Darkoa Ladies licked their wounds for poor defending

Hasaacas Ladies defeated Ampem Darkoa Ladies 3-2 to win the 2019 NC women's football Special Competition title after completing an incredible fightback at the El Wak Sports Stadium in Accra on the weekend.

Ampem Darkoa gained the lead after 19 minutes through Ophelia Amponsah, exploiting the porous defense of Hasaacas.

Nine minutes later, Mavis Owusu doubled the Dormaa-based side's lead, firing past hapless goalkeeper Faustina Nyamekye.

It was a stunning end to the game for the Darkoa ladies after Evelyn Badu pulled one back in the 38th minute and Milot Pokuaa's strike dragged Yussif Basigi's side level before half time.
