Hans van Pluijm praises Kambale despite defeat

The striker has scored four goals since his debut

Even with their 1-0 defeat against Lipuli FC on Saturday, Singida United Head Coach Hans van Pluijm has praised the performance of his striker Papy Salita “Kambale”.

Pluijm claims Kambale was the standout player in the team despite the defeat against the Iringa based side.

Speaking to Goal, Pluijm said that the striker's movement with or without a ball was amazing and it could be fine contribution in the coming matches.

“Kambale is a good striker, his movement with or without a ball is amazing and it could be a key in the coming matches,” said Pluijm.

The striker who joined Singida United in the mid-season transfer window, has scored four goals since his debut. He opened the scoring during the clash against Yanga on April 11 although the Jangwani club equalized.
