Having struggled for form in recent games, Al Hain-Cole cannot see Skibbe's men competing with a Vatreni team that beat them easily in the first leg

Greece have a mountain to climb when they welcome Croatia to Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium for Sunday’s World Cup qualification play-off second leg.
Having suffered a heavy 4-1 defeat in the first leg in Zagreb, the Ethniki are available at 15/8 (2.88) with dabblebet to at least go some way to narrowing the deficit by coming out on top here.
However, after running out such easy winners on Thursday, Zlatko Dalic’s men are 6/5 (2.20) favourites to secure their place in Russia in style with another victory in Athens.

Four of the hosts’ last eight qualification games have resulted in draws, and you can get odds of 12/5 (3.40) on them being held to another stalemate in this one.
After conceding just six goals in their 10 group games, it was perhaps something of a surprise that Michael Skibbe’s side let in four in less than 50 minutes at the Stadion Maksimir.
Having given away a careless penalty within a quarter of an hour of kick-off, an error-strewn defensive performance saw them soundly beaten by a dominant home team.
Nevertheless, while the manner of defeat may have been unexpected, recent form suggested returning home with a positive first-leg result was always going to be a tall order.

The 2004 European champions reached the play-offs despite winning just two of their last seven group games, overcoming only Cyprus and whipping boys Gibraltar in that spell.
Given their failure to make the undoubted step-up in quality on Thursday, it is hard to see them recovering from such a damaging defeat even in front of their own fans.
Indeed, the hosts have lost five and won only three of their last 10 competitive fixtures in their own back yard, making their chances of beating the Vatreni look even more remote.
All in all, Croatia are far more likely to enhance their aggregate lead than surrender it, with odds of 6/5 (2.20) offering strong value on them adding to Greece’s woes with another win here.
