The Hornets were unlucky not to proceed to the fourth round of the competition but the striker has lauded the team for putting up a good showing

Isaac Success has heaped praises on Watford despite exiting the League Cup after losing to Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday evening.

The 22-year-old opened the scoring with his second goal of the season but late dramas ensured the regulation time ended 2-2 before they proceeded to lose 4-2 on penalties.

Impressed by the team’s doggedness in the encounter, the forward took to the social media to laud the display while also thanking the fans for their show of solidarity.

“Great team performance but unlucky tonight and thanks to all the Watford fans that came out to support,” Success posted on Instagram.
