Simba's management has given the technical bench the free hand to scout for any player they want in the squad

Simba SC are in talks with Gor Mahia’s talented midfielder Francis  Kahata for a possible move to the Tanzanian Premier League.

Simba are understood to have initiated talks with K'Ogalo's prized asset, who is understood to be demanding a monthly salary in the region of Sh4 million from the Tanzania giants.

According to Tanzanian publication, Mwanaspoti, Simba have intensified their interest on the dreaded midfielder, whose scintillating form has been a key driver to Gor Mahia's success this season.

K’Ogalo are yet to lose a league match and have only lost one this season to Tunisia giants, Esperance. Gor Mahia beat Simba during the Super Cup final and the present king of Tanzanian football seems to have trailed their energy on weakening the Kenyan champions with Meddie Kagere and George Odhiambo, also understood to be o their radar.

Simba's management has given the technical bench the free hand to scout for any player they want in the squad from any part of the continent and the ‘Lion’ Is not hunting far from home.

“We will sign any player that we want so that we can build a strong squad ready to compete with any team in Africa," Simba vice president Salim Abdallah said.
