The match between Gor Mahia and KCCA will bring together champions of two of the best leagues in East Africa battling for regional supremacy at Afraha Stadium in Nakuru.
Kenyan champions Gor Mahia will host Uganda's domestic winners and Coach Dylan Kerr is elated at the opportunity of facing one of the best sides in the region.
"They, KCCA, are a good side with good players, and I believe they will have a positive impact on my team.
"I will give most of my players a chance to show their potential, but the duration (on the pitch) will depend on the fitness. Well, this is a perfect opportunity for me to gauge some of my players and see what they can do in big matches."
Just like Gor Mahia, KCCA are using the match to prepare for the forthcoming Caf Champions League.
K'Ogalo will host Leones Vegetarianos of Equatorial Guinea as KCAA takes on CNaPS Sports of Madagascar in the preliminary round.
