The first World Cup semi-final is packed with top class talent and dabblebet are struggling to split two of the leading performers in Russia so far

There isn't much to choose between France and Belgium in the first World Cup semi-final according to the bookmakers.

dabblebet offer 8/11 (1.73) that Les Bleus emerge victorious and 11/10 (2.10) that it's Roberto Martinez's men who secure a first ever appearance in the showpiece finale.

One of the new markets available with the online firm is which player will be crowned FIFA Man of the Match.

This accolade is chosen by the fans tuning into the action around the world. Voting takes place through FIFA's digital platforms from the start of the second half so while an outstanding performance is important, there is some element of a popularity contest too.

Two players lead the way in St Petersburg and one of them is Antoine Griezmann (5/1).

The France forward has won this prize twice so far (against Australia and Uruguay) and as the penalty taker he has prominent claims to do so again here.

The other 5/1 (6.0) shot looks a better selection though, Eden Hazard's performance levels in the knockout stages have been incredible.

The Chelsea playmaker has already been crowned Man of the Match against Japan, Tunisia and could have easily had a third award due to his showing against Brazil last time out.

Despite the fact Belgium are underdogs, Hazard should be just as influential on the game as his main market rival and is worth favourite.

Kevin De Bruyne (6/1) scooped the prize against the Selecao but playing in a more withdrawn role than he normally would at Manchester City, he looks short enough at that price.

Kylian Mbappe (11/2) was the standout performer against Argentina in the Round of 16 and he's priced ahead of the likes of strikers Romelu Lukaku (8/1) and Olivier Giroud (10/1).

Given the potentially cagey nature of a semi-final plus the option of the game being decided by a penalty shootout, Hugo Lloris and Thiabut Courtois are both 9/1 (10.0).

Bigger prices include Paul Pogba (12/1), Maurouane Fellaini (20/1) and N’Golo Kante (20/1). You can find a full list of the candidates and their odds here.
