FKF to conduct endurance test for NSL referees

Referees aspiring to officiate in NSL will undergo tests as from Monday

Two weeks after holding a pre-season Physical Endurance Test (PET) for National Super League match officials, Football Kenya Federation is set to hold a similar exercise for Division One League match officials as from Monday.

According to referees’ manager Sylvester Kirwa a total of 79 whistlers, 39 referees and 40 assistant referees have been invited to attend the exercise, which will be held in Nakuru.

The PET will test the whistlers’ endurance, enable them learn new laws of the games and take them through medical test examination.

Successful participants will qualify to officiate in the first leg of the Division One League for the 2017 season.
