Fikayo Tomori bids farewell to Hull City

Fikayo Tomori has appreciated Hull City after his long-season loan from Premier League side Chelsea came to an end.

The defender who joined the KCOM Stadium outfit last summer played a pivotal role to help the side remain in the English Championship, making 25 league encounters.

The Anglo-Nigerian made his last appearance for the Tigers in Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Brentford where he featured from start to finish in the tie.

The youngster who is excited for the time spent with the second tier side has taken to social media to applaud the staff, players and fans for making his stay a success.

“Thank you to all the staff, players and fans for making me feel so welcome and making my time here so enjoyable,” Tomori tweeted.

“It wasn’t the season we were hoping for, but Hull City will be in the championship next season. All the best next season.”

Tomori will be aiming to get an opportunity to prove his worth at Chelsea as he will be hoping to break into the first team setup next season.
