Feghouli powers Galatasaray to win over Karabukspor

The Algeria international weighed in with a goal and an assist as the Yellow-Reds triumphed over Erkan Sozeri’s side at the Turk Telekom Stadium

Sofiane Feghouli was the star of the show in Galatasaray’s 3-2 win over Karabukspor in a Turkish Super Lig game on Saturday.

The 27-year-old winger got the curtain raiser for the hosts after 17 minutes. And the lead was doubled five minutes later courtesy Maicon who was played through by Morocco’s Younes Belhanda.

Mustapha Yatabare halved the deficit for the Blue Flame in the 27th minute before Yevhen Seleznyov got the leveller for the visitors via the penalty spot in the 84th minute.

However, Feghouli - who had earlier been cautioned in the 82nd minute - had other ideas as he assisted Maicon to seal the game at the death.

The win sees Igor Tudor’s charges remain at the zenith of the Turkish topflight standings and they will visit the Konya Buyuksehir Stadium next to take on Konyaspor on October 14.
