Nigeria players turned the dressing room at the FNB Stadium to a worship and praise centre to celebrate their 1-1 draw with South Africa in Saturday’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The Super Eagles have automatically qualified for the 2019 continental showpiece with a match to spare and sit at the top of Group E with 10 points from five matches.
It means that Nigeria will return to the grand stage in Cameroon after missing the last two editions in Equatorial Guinea and Gabon.
In celebrating their qualification, lockers and bottles in the dressing room were turned to drums while the players and team officials sang popular Nigeria songs.
‘He’s a miracle working God.’
