Ex-AFC Leopards forward in Uganda Cranes Cecafa squad

Former AFC Leopards’ forward, Allan Kateregga has been named in Uganda Cranes’ final squad for Cecafa Senior Challenge.

Defending champions, Uganda will open their title defence with an easy fixture against Burundi on Monday in Kakamega on day two of the tournament that kicks off on Sunday.

Kateregga bolted out of the Den in teh second leg of teh league after falling out with Coach Robert Matano when he secured a season-long deal to Kampala Capital City Authority –KCCA.

But despite the many troubles that characterised his last days in the Kenyan Premier League, the dreaded Ugandan seemed to have found his grooves when he was named in the final squad that is expected to defend the title in Kenya.
