Everton striker Sandro joins Real Sociedad on season-long loan

The 23-year-old was faced with limited playing time at Goodison Park, and has opted for a move back to his native country

Everton striker Sandro Ramirez has joined Real Sociedad on a season-long loan.

Sandro endured a difficult start to life at Everton after joining from Malaga last summer, scoring just one goal in 15 total appearances for the Toffees.

The striker went on loan to Sevilla in January, where he failed to score in 18 total appearances. 

After failing to make an appearance for Everton in their first three Premier League games, the 23-year-old has opted for a move back to La Liga. 

Prior to joining Everton, Sandro scored 16 goals in 31 appearances for Malaga in the 2016-17 season.
