The Horses are on the verge of adding the Ghanaian to their squad following a successful negotiation, reports say

Russian giants CSKA Moscow are close to completing a move for Ghana and FC Zurich striker Rafael Dwamena, according to reports in the local media.

The 22-year-old was previously linked with Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion and although negotiations were finalised the deal fell through following a failed medical.

The Horses want the Ghanaian as a replacement for Nigerian striker Ahmed Musa who left the club for Saudi Arabian side Al Nassar last week following a brilliant campaign at the 2018 Fifa World Cup in Russia.

Goal understands that Dwamena may undergo a medical this week in Germany if the two clubs reach agreement on a transfer fee.

Last season, he scored nine goals in 32 appearances to help FC Zurich finish fourth in the Swiss top-flight.
